Along with this, fashion trend cycles are getting shorter, further pushing brands to produce higher volumes of clothing at cheaper prices. This overconsumption is harmful to the environment, the workers producing the garments as well as the consumers in the long run.
Slow fashion is basically everything fast fashion isn’t. Brands that follow slower fashion cycles produce in smaller volumes and create thoughtful designs that are timeless, versatile, and will last you a long time. Here are a few ways you can increase the longevity of your wardrobe whilst also doing what’s right for the planet.
Be mindful of your purchases
